Sustainability at management level
The Sustainability Steering Committee is the central steering body of the CHT Group for sustainable development. It consists of members of the RBI management, Heads of Business Fields and functional areas. It is chaired by the CEO of the CHT Group.

In 2022, the Sustainability Steering Committee met regularly by video conference to receive quarterly status reports on the progress of projects and to make upcoming decisions. Our sustainability management contributes to risk minimization and opens opportunities in the marketing of sustainable products.
We intend to reduce risks in the areas relating to environmental protection, safety, health protection, product responsibility, compliance as well as labor and social standards by globally setting uniform standards. These often go beyond local legal requirements. We check compliance with them through internal monitoring systems such as our compliance surveys, which we conduct in the form of compliance audits or self-assessments in the CHT Group, and whistleblower channels (codeofconduct@cht.com, cht@bansbach-gmbh.com). Our globally valid Code of Conduct, which the management and all employees are committed to observe, creates a binding framework.
Our sustainability management makes an important contribution to risk minimization.
