Competing for talented employees

Attracting and retaining the best employees is crucial to ensuring the long-term success of the CHT Group. In view of the strong global competition for the best specialists and managers, an attractive and convincing overall offer for employees is becoming increasingly important.

Investing in our talents is a priority for CHT. This is why we have the GROW program. The program aims to support employees in their professional and personal development, clarify their goals, provide time to learn key skills for the next possible career step and strengthen a global network.

The first group was launched in 2023, and in 2024 the second group joined the team which now consists of 42 people. The participants come from 12 CHT countries with different professional positions and thus formed a diverse group that was enriched by their different perspectives and experiences.

As a team, the GROW participants will focus on their learning objectives for 16 months, which they will work on in small, virtually organized learning groups.

Regular feedback loops round off the learning process and managers also support participants in applying what they have learned in their day-to-day work.

In 2023, we recruited 245 new employees to the CHT Group.

A total of 316 employees left the CHT Group in 2023, giving a global staff turnover rate of 12.6 %. The proportion in Europe is 11 % and is due to voluntary departures and an increasing number of employees taking retirement.
